Caves in Migori County Mugabo Caves: Nyumba ya Mungu The occurence and natural formations of caves, created over millennia through the processes of weathering, erosion, and geological shifts, is often fascinating. Open year-round, a visit here requires a good watch for weather, sturdy shoes, and a flashlight to scout the deeps.  Mugabo Caves are located 52 km west of Migori town; 30 km to Thimlich Ohinga Landscape, and just 3 km before Muhuru Bay via Migori-Muhuru Road.
