Power Industries in Migori Gogo Falls: Small and Pretty Power Plant Midway between Migori and Macalder, off Gogo-Macalder Mines Roads, stands Gogo Falls or Gogo spillway. Commissioned in 1957, it dams the concentrated headwaters of the15 ms wide River Gucha, also known as River Kuja, which is used for power production. The resulting Gogo Dam, about 1 km2, provides an adequate supply for the downstream areas with water stored from high flow. Plans are underway to increase the reservoir wall to 34 ms.
