Thanks to its central position in South Nyanza, with developed access roads to Homa Bay, Kisii, Nyamira, Kericho and Narok counties, Rongo town serves as a useful jumping-off place for many organizations working in the region, especially the hatful of International Non-Governmental Organization with a presence here. It’s no secret that demand for accommodation and amenities has far outweighed supply for many years now. Ask who you may, but getting good accommodation around Rongo town without prior reservation after 6pm is somewhat a gamble.

The options are limited, too. Which is why, the recently established Treat House Resort fills a big gap in the market for decent and standard accommodation options about Rongo Town. This large hotel complex, of a modern design, offers standard, and plenty, accommodation for business and leisure travelers visiting the area. So much so, Treat House Resort is one of the few rated hotels in the entire Migori County. Situated in a quiet setting just outside the main town of Rongo, it is easily accessible from many parts of South Nyanza, making it ideal.
