Also known as Nakegere falls, it looks out to the stunning Silale Hills. Nakegere in the local lingua means crack, an epithet hinting at the fires miles below ground.

Aside from its beauty, Kapedo Falls is revered as a meeting place for the diverse communities living around it. For many decades now, the patrolists meet here to water their livestock. Remarkably, peace has been maintained here, despite the differences between the fierce tribes – Turkana and Kalenjin – who rarely see eye-to-eye.
