Beyond River Sondu Bridge, it flows through narrow, hilly gorges, bypassing the Nyakach Escarpment, meandering into Odino Falls, before draining into Lake Victoria at Osodo Bay 22 km southeast of Kisumu City. A word of extra context is necessary here: Although the narrative of River Sondu Bridge as an ancient quadripoint has stood as truth for eons, it is on technicality aggrandized, but the margin of error is tolerable. The bridge is infact a tripoint where Homa Bay, Kericho and Kisumu meet at a point. The tripoint where Homa Bay, Nyamira and Kericho converge is 1 km south of River Sondu Bridge. However, these revisions in borders came many years after its original marker use. On a broader outlook, there are more than 150 tripoints in the world, but only one inter national quadripoint, where Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe meet.
