Kitui Hills: Underrated Scenic Hillscape

These from the central feature around Kitui Town. The chief summits of the Kitui Hills are all grouped within eight kilometres of the southern boundary of Kitui’s fault-zone, and stand more than 1,000 ft. higher than the hills and ridges on its northern side. Against the low-lying, comparatively flat, tropical bushland that extends eastwards to the Tana River, Kitui Hills prominently dominate much of the landscape. And likewise, the area around the Kitui Hills receives more rainfall, satisfactorily distinguishing its vegetal profile for the predominating arid plains.

Kenya is blessed with a diverse range of natural landmarks, showcasing the country’s stunning landscapes and rich biodiversity. These natural landmarks represent Kenya’s breathtaking beauty and ecological diversity, making it a top destination for safari adventures, outdoor, and wilderness exploration.
