Reservoir Dams in Embu Kindaruma Dam: First Of The Seven Forks Unique to the Kindaruma Dam, east of Gitaru, is that it was the first dam to be commissioned, in 1968, as a part of the five all-important reservoirs built along the upper reaches of the Tana, more proper the Seven Forks Dam Project.
