Waterfalls in Uasin Gishu

Kesses Falls: A Walk About In Moi University

This dainty little falls occurs in Kesses, more proper at the south-end of Moi University. This accounts for its obscurity, with the main access being via the university, and down the valley. Popular as a recreation and outdoor area for students, it takes just 15 minutes to access the falls, making it a popular leisure place to kick back and soak in nature. Set in lovely valley, it is for the fan type, where water spreads out like a fan as it descends, in two or more distinct vertical drops depending on the season. Like elsewhere about Kenya, Kesses Falls is best sighted after the rain. Moi university is situated about 5 km from Kesses junction.

Touring waterfalls in Kenya offers a refreshing and adventurous experience, showcasing the country’s stunning natural beauty. Each waterfall – many still little known – provides a unique and memorable experience, whether you’re seeking adventure, relaxation, or simply the opportunity to connect with nature
