Isukuti Guest House is the idyllic base from where to explore Kakamega Forest’s 300 trees species, 400 species of birds and 300 species of butterfly. Quite like a modest cabin, Isukuti is a modest, detached, secluded and relaxing destination. The house, which sleeps four, has a working kitchen, bathroom and generous outdoor space next to Uda Campsite, offering a wide-cut open yard. It is located at the north tip of Kakamega Forest. Not too far from here and the North Gate to Kakamega National Reserve, near the Kwa Thomas Village, is Busambuli Eco Lodge, an eco-friendly secluded getaway.
